Albinism is a genetic condition that is frequent among the Hopi of North America. It a congenital disorder caused by a lack of pigmentation in the skin. The frequency has been estimated at approximately 1 in every 200 individuals. The high frequency of this mutation has been attributed ti inbreeding.
