What does the falling snow symbolize or represent?

Well, in both traditional and modern media sense, it said that snow represents hardships or death. Snow can also symbolise individuality, changes and transformation or sometimes, even new beginnings in various cultures. 

I, however, like to think that snow represents school holidays.
