to get two consecutive integers you would set it up as x + x + 2.
x is the first integer and
x + 2 is the next even integer. Now set up and equation with the remaining criteria.
(x+x+2)/4=189.5
Multiply both sides by 4
(x+x+2)=758
Subtract 2 from both sides
x + x =756
2x=756
Divide by two on both sides
x=378
x+2=380
