Change the percentages to decimals. 1%=.01 & .01%=.0001. To find the midpoint subtract the 2 numbers. .01-.0001= .0099. Then divide that answer by 2. .0099/2=.00495. Add that to your smallest original number. .0001+.00495=.00505. That number as a percent is .505%.
